Purple Cane Moon Cake

Moon Cake Festival: A Mid-Autumn Festival (Chung Chiu), the third major festival of the Chinese calendar, is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month. Yesterday I bought 2 pieces of moon cake from Purple Cane. I chose 2 favors: Green Tea Pandan Paste and Bamboo Charcoal Lotus Paste. It made by tea and not too sweet as traditional one. Inside each box of moon cake, got 2 papers of Lantern Riddles.

This time I want to enter into the crowd and decided to order the original Baba Cendol. There got so many different kind of cendol with different topping.

At the same time, decided to order Nyonya Asam Laksa. It's totally different from Penang Asam Laksa. It's hot and spicy and sour.

Sticky Traditional Hand-Make Yummy @ One Utama

Any idea how people make this candy? A candy shop is opened in One Utama shopping mall. Sticky is originally come from Australia (http://www.sticky.com.au). They show customer how they make the candy everyday in front of the shop. If you pass by there, you could have a stop there. It's so amazing from a huge roll until one small yummy candy. I love the colorful and attractive color. It fill up the life with hope and love, also beautiful things.

Durian Buffet @ SS2

Again, it's durian season now. You can see durian stalls every where you go. Many durian stalls near the rows of bridal shops at SS2 having durian buffets. For only RM10, you can eat until you get full. The cheapest durian buffet offers is RM9 per person for Durian Kampung. Another promotion going on was RM15 for D24 durians.

Due to there's too many people, we went to the next stall, Donald's Durian. They have the buffet RM10 for Durian Kampung and RM20 for D24 durians. They had some varieties of durians. We decided to try RM10 and I would say it's worth to try. Now, I'm drooling.

Hokkien Mee @ Restaurant Damansara, PJ Uptown

A popular Hokkien Mee recommended earlier at PJ Uptown. The cook always scolds his staff while frying. Many people jokes will there be any “extra ingredient” adds in. XD Of course, this is just a joke, do not take it serious.

We went there for our dinner 2 weeks ago. Thought we need to queue for longer time to get our order, luckily there had a good ordering management system. The delicious Hokkien Mee was serving less than 15 minutes after we ordered. They gain my heart (cos I do not like to wait :p).
